Artifact Wooden Puzzles SKU: 51245

$40.00

This is a 100-piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of  the famous 1920 painting Asbury Park South by the legendary New Yorker Florine Stettheimer. It depicts a 1920 New Jersey boardwalk, with a wealthy African-American crowd of hipsters strutting their stuff, and hanging out on the beach.

The lady holding a green umbrella is a self-portrait of Florine Stettheimer herself, and her friend and fellow-artist Marcel Duchamp is the gentleman in the magenta suit in the middle.

The puzzle design by Jef Bambas has relaxed pieces with knob connectors and 1920s people whimsies, for an average overall difficulty.
